A 20-Minute Home Workout for Busy Weeknights

No equipment, no commute, no excuses. Just a quick routine that works.

A 20-Minute Home Workout for Busy Weeknights

When your schedule is packed, a short workout is far better than skipping it entirely. This circuit works your whole body in about 20 minutes.

Warm up (3 minutes)

March in place, do arm circles, and add gentle leg swings to get your blood moving.

The circuit

Do each move for 40 seconds, rest for 20 seconds, and repeat the circuit three times.

  • Squats
  • Push-ups (on your knees or against a counter is great)
  • Reverse lunges
  • Glute bridges
  • Plank hold

Cool down (2 minutes)

Stretch your hamstrings, hips, chest, and shoulders. Breathe slowly.

Consistency beats intensity. Three short workouts a week will do more than one exhausting one.

Make it a habit

Pair your workout with something you already do, like right after you change out of work clothes. Lay out your mat the night before as a visual reminder.
